Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows :D

July 24, 2007

School is out! :D YAY! Okay I hate my school so thats enough said.

I finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows a few days ago. Sniff. THE SERIES IS DONEEEE AND THERE WILL BE NO MORE BOOKS NOOOOO! J.K. - if some mad fan i.e. me refers you to this blog let me say something. This is probably going to me yours and the century’s most successful book so continue the series and make everyone happy. The end. I’m probably going to give some kind of spoiler here, so any slow readers, stop here. I can’t believe Snape felt like that!! I feel sorry for him :( Lily should’ve given him another chance. And the last chapter was so rubbish. It was so predictable. I think Harry should run off with Cho Chang or something and Ron kills Hermione. Okay, enough of the HP alternate world.

Okay. As school has finished and I have six weeks of lovely summer, I will be working on the site. As you can see, I started with a new layout of guess who - Harry Potter. Hover over him, you’ll get a surprise. I’ll be going through the pages, revamping them and correcting errors. But I won’t take the site down. It’ll be an open revamp. Okie dokie? :D Good.

Funeral

The funeral has been done today. I know its pretty quick, its because my parents wanted her to rest in peace and not just left in some fridge or something. We had a Catholic funeral, since my Grandmother was a devoted Catholic and without her, I wouldn’t have the religion anyway. This was a bit of a problem, since there were so many people at the funeral but only a fraction were actually Christian in a way.

So we went to the Church she attended since she came to the UK. In fact, I was baptised there but nevermind that. It was ENORMOUS. This was a good thing, since there were so many people. The minister was very kind and patient, and explained what happened at the mass to everyone. Lawrence (my uncle-in-law lol) - did the First Reading. Unfortunately he has a very deep voice, which didn’t help me understand his American-oriented slurs. Lynn (Lawrence’s wife - I can’t be bothered to check how her name is really spelt) did the Second Reading. We then had the Gospel, and then I did Bidding Prayers. I was a little upset but the Prayers made me feel better. My cousin then did a speech in Viet - I couldn’t understand :(

We then went to the cemetery, to see the burial. It was very emotional (emotional-emotional not MCR-emotional btw) and threw flowers. Auntie Lynn was overeacting loads. She was practically made out of tears. But she should be happu for my Grandmother. Her pain was finally over.

Janine, Daniel and Auntie Lan Huong (or Rosa) were just weird. They showed absolutely no emotion for Grandma. No sadness, no happiness, no anger - nothing. In fact they blackmailed everyone so they could go in the limo and they were singing in the limo on the way home from the funeral! Disrespect. :X Some people didn’t wear black or white but they wore dark colours which was okay. Apart from one spoilt niece called Jennifer, who wore Bratz jeans and a pink top. Yay.

Oh yeah. Janine, Daniel and Auntie. I’ll call them JDA for short (looks like PDA! ^-^;;) Were acting weird on Saturday. Saturday was the last time we could see Grandma before the coffin was sealed. Janine was crying. Not because of Grandma. Because apparently someone said she had a potbelly. Trust me she is thin. Daniel was crying. Not because of Grandma. Because someone told him something which provoked him to cry. Auntie. She showed no emotion. She was in fact rushing to get her children out of the Chapel of Rest so they can watch Harry Potter. Woo.

Me? I had mixed emotions. It was a happy yet sad day. I was happy yet sad. Sad because she was not visibly with us anymore. Happy that her suffering is gone and she can live with God.

<3 you always Grandma.

No words can describe…

How I feel at this very moment.

My grandmother died 12.40pm GMT+1 time (for you non-UK people), from a stroke and a heart attack. (This is a note to Anjeli) I won’t be in school Tuesday & Wednesday - sorry bout the history thingy because I am helping arrange the funeral with my parents. So can you tell me what’s for h/w? Thanks :)

I really don’t think I showed as much love to my grandma as I could’ve - but now you start to think after it is all over. How lucky you are to even have a family in the first place. Without her, I wouldn’t be on this Earth.

 I feel guilty.

Live Earthhhhh

July 7, 2007

Forget Live Earth at the moment. My grandmother has just had a stroke. So that’s more important to me at this very moment. My family has a history of strokes and high blood pressure so I’m really worrying now. My grandmother has always had a medical condition, which changed from time to time - particularly TB - where she couldn’t walk. She learnt to walk a little bit now but I think the struggle is going to happen again. I will pray for her.
